What is Hibertape?
Hibertape is an ergonomically designed mouth tape used for sleeping. The shape of the tape fits the contour of your mouth, reducing invasiveness to your face while you sleep. We designed the tape using Cactus Silk, which offers an elastic and breathable material that does not leave a residue ring on your face, like many competing tapes do. The tape has been scented with lavender for therapeutic purposes, and we installed an easy to remove pull tab to the design for in the morning. Our mouth tape design naturally brings your jaw forward and induces nasal breathing while you sleep, which has immeasurable benefits to your body, your sleep and your energy levels and also the aesthetic of your facial structure.
How does Hibertape work?
Hibertape works by preventing your mouth from falling open during sleep. By keeping your mouth closed, it encourages you to breathe through your nose, which will eliminate snoring, increase nitric oxide levels to enhance recovery and provide you with ADDICTIVE deep sleep all night long.
Does it hurt removing the tape in the morning?
We decided that we would try and create a product that was conducive to everyone's preferences. Therefor, we went with a medical grade adhesive that is slightly stickier than other brands. However, if you find the adhesive to sticky for your liking, then you apply the tape using the directions below, and then immediately remove the tape. Then you simply reapply it after you have dulled down the adhesive. You can repeat this process as many times as you find necessary.
Can Hibertape help with snoring?
Hibertape was specifically designed with eliminating snoring as one of its main problem solutions. Snoring is typically caused by mouth breathing. With your mouth closed ats night, your mandibular jaw bone is brought forward, also bringing forward your tongue, and opening the airway from your nasal cavity into your esophagus, helping improve airflow and decrease the vibrations that lead to snoring.
Can I still breathe with my mouth closed using the tape?
